Dan writes in the folk song tradition, telling stories about his family, friends, Army buddies, co-workers, and travels from the Atlantic region to the Midwest and Madison, Wisconsin, where he resides. He gives a voice to those around him as well as to his own personal struggles, dreams, and celebrations.

His work and travels reflect his commitment to sharing music and engaging people in that basic human activity: communal participation in making music.  These people include communities of family, friends, Welsh-Americans, personal growth, veterans, church members, and retirement center populations. 

 

With the Covid pandemic in the 2020s, punctuated with the loss of family members and increasing age, Dan's time has become a precious commodity. Now is the time to share his music and remember the people who shared the journeys. His music, contributed to by many friends, has been recorded with four albums.
